Scouts BSA Troop 219 - Martinsville, Indiana - holds its meetings on Monday nights at St. Martin of Tours' Catholic Church - Sexton Hall. Scout and Adult committee meetings are held on various Wednesday nights. Additionally, a similar Scout group known as the Venture Crew holds meetings every other Wednesday at Sexton Hall. Venturing provides young men and women ages 14 to 20 with positive experiences to help them mature and develop into responsible and caring adults.

Troop 219 is a scout run troop  which follows the Patrol Method, has an active youth enrollment and a strong committed contingent of parent and adult volunteers. Established in 1974, Troop 219 continues to serve the community through outreach and service projects. We train young people through adventure, life skills, and leadership. Currently Scouts BSA Troop 219 is chartered through the Spirit Of Life Church Youth Group.

Troop 219 also offers the Ad Altare Dei Program for any Catholic Scout in the troop. The purpose of the Ad Altare Dei (To the Altar of God) Emblem Program is to help Scouts of the Roman Catholic Rite develop a fully Christian way of life.
