St. Martin of Tours' Altar Servers are a group of reverent and prayerful young parishioners—from 4th grade through high school—who assist the priest at all Masses and liturgical celebrations. Open to those who have received First Communion, this ministry offers meaningful formation in the liturgy and a chance to deepen one’s relationship with Christ through active participation.

Altar Servers support the Mass by helping with the preparation and presentation of gifts, carrying candles or the cross in processions, holding books, and performing other duties at the altar. It’s a wonderful opportunity to serve God and the community, grow in faith, and be part of the worship in a hands‑on way.

Training is provided for new servers, and many families gather annually for a thank‑you outing to build fellowship and appreciation for their service. For more information or to get involved, please contact the parish office at 765.342.6379.
